Dead presidents’ hair locks on display!

hairlock.jpgAs if someone will find that interesting! If you do, you’re weird man! LOL! Anyway, a Philadelphia museum this week is featuring hair samples from the first 12 US presidents. The Academy of Natural Sciences acquired a lock-filled scrapbook that was assembled by Peter Arvell Browne, who collected animal fur and human hair during the 1840s and 1850s. Goodness! That’s really icky!!! Among the samples he had are George Washington’s brown-gray locks, Thomas Jefferson’s reddish-gray hair, and James Monroe’s dark curls. These are hair from the HEAD right? And not from any other body area?? Just wondering how he got those samples from down under if ever.. >=)
